LAKKI MARWAT: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in the Wanda Sheikh Allah area of Lakki Marwat on Thursday, killing eight militants and injuring five others, according to security sources.
The operation was launched following credible intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants in the area. During the encounter, the security personnel displayed exceptional combat skills, leaving the militants with no chance to escape.
A search operation is currently underway to clear the area amid concerns that more terrorists may still be hiding nearby.
Security sources further stated that under the National Action Plan, such operations will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism and the full restoration of peace and order in the region.
