MARDAN: The Secretary Education Elementary and Secondary Education Department Masood Ahmed attended the annual Parents Day and prize distribution ceremony at Girls Cadet College Mardan as Chief Guest. The principal of the college, Tahira Muzamal, welcomed the chief guests and welcomed them along with the lady student cadets.The annual performance report was presented by the principal of the college, in which “Fatima Jinnah House” was named the champion house of the year.On this occasion, the Lady Student Cadets performed a spectacular march past, band display and judo karate, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The five memorable years spent in the school by the lady cadets were also described in the form of a speech. A gift was also presented by the students.Masood Ahmed said that he emphasized on character building, honesty, dedication and self-confidence of the students. He further said that the development work of the college’s own building is in the final stages and soon the students will be shifted to the college’s own building. He also thanked the Principal Commerce College for giving a block of their college to Girls Cadet College Mardan for educational activities in the wider interest of the public and students. He lauded the management of Girls Cadet College for organizing an excellent event and appreciated the performance of the students.Medals were also distributed among the female students who performed well in recent matriculation and FSC. The function was very memorable for the parents and students and presented a high performance of the college.
