Scientists have predicted that a bright comet will pass through our solar system and be visible from Earth in the coming days. This comet, named C/24 G3, was first identified by NASA experts last April, and its close pass by Earth has been eagerly anticipated. The comet has already become visible to the naked eye from Earth.
According to King’s College London, this comet passes by Earth only once every 160,000 years, making it a rare event. Last year, it was considered the brightest comet to be seen in the past 20 years.
Experts believe that it will take another 160,000 years for the comet to return to our solar system. However, some other scientists suggest that the comet may be nearing the end of its life, and its increasing brightness indicates that it may disintegrate before it has a chance to return.
