Netanyahu’s Statement on Establishing a Palestinian State in Saudi Arabia Sparks Strong Saudi Response
Saudi Arabia has strongly rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement suggesting the establishment of a Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia after expelling Palestinians.
According to foreign media reports, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Netanyahu’s remarks regarding the forced displacement of Palestinians. The ministry stated that it firmly rejects the Israeli Prime Minister’s proposal.
Egypt also condemned Netanyahu’s statement, calling it a violation of Saudi sovereignty and declaring that Saudi Arabia’s security is a “red line” for Egypt.
Meanwhile, the UAE also strongly criticized Netanyahu’s statement, calling it provocative and unacceptable. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks violate international law and that regional stability can only be achieved through a two-state solution.
It is noteworthy that Netanyahu, during his U.S. visit, told Israeli media that the establishment of a Palestinian state poses a security threat to Israel and suggested that Saudi Arabia could create a Palestinian state within its own vast territory.
