Saudi Arabia has granted Saudi citizenship to a number of scientists, doctors, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and talents with unique skills and expertise.
The announcement was made on Thursday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), which said Saudi Arabia continues to seek global talent with unique skills.
The Kingdom is looking for unique and experienced individuals who can contribute to the development of various sectors of the Kingdom to achieve its 2030 goals.
The Vision 2030 initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s desire to attract, invest and retain brilliant creative minds.
It also demonstrates the Kingdom’s desire to create an environment that encourages innovation and growth.
The announcement follows a similar royal decision in 2021 to grant Saudi citizenship to the first batch of talent selected in the field.
What is Saudi Arabia’s vision for 2030?
Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 was launched in 2016 under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Al Arabiya News reported earlier this year.
According to the initiative’s official website, it is an ambitious plan that aims to build a “multidisciplinary, innovative and world-leading nation” through the Kingdom’s cultural heritage and strategic advantages.
The Vision 2030 roadmap has three pillars that represent Saudi Arabia’s main goals: a vibrant society, a thriving economy and an ambitious country.
This pillar serves as a strategic objective to ensure the effective implementation of the program in the sector.
