The Saturday holiday has been abolished in federally administered educational institutions.
According to the Federal Directorate of Education, the closure of schools for several days disrupted students’ education. As a result, Saturday will now be considered a working day in these institutions starting tomorrow.
As per the notification, this decision will be effective from November 30, 2024, to February 1, 2025.
