Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar has rejected allegations that shooters were allegedly being arranged to kill Hamza Habib, husband of actress Momina Iqbal.

Chadhar responded to the allegation through an Instagram story, describing it as a “fake story” and sarcastically suggesting that police provide Hamza Habib with the security he was seeking.

Saqib Chadhar rejects allegations

In his Instagram story, Chadhar said the allegation was fabricated and addressed Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP), saying that the people making the claim should be provided with the security they supposedly needed.

He later added that he had many other matters to deal with and that the issue was not important to him.

Hamza Habib had alleged threat

Earlier, Hamza Habib had accused Saqib Chadhar of allegedly arranging shooters to target him. Chadhar has now denied the allegation.

The claims and counterclaims come amid heightened attention surrounding the alleged threat, although the information provided does not establish that any murder plot was actually carried out or that any suspects have been arrested.
