Peshawar: Information Advisor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Tuesday said that the federal government is dismantling democracy by stifling opponents.
In a statement, the adviser said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants to hold meaningful talks to restore democracy in Pakistan, adding that dialogue must be taken seriously by all parties inside and outside parliament.
“All the opposition parties will have to come together under one platform. The present government has silenced all the voices of the opposition thereby weakening democracy in the country,” he added.
He accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of destroying the country to stay in power, stressing that the PTI was the only party interested in upholding the rule of law and democracy. Pakistan.
