According to Indian media reports, the police found a piece of a knife near a lake in Bandra, about one kilometer from Saif Ali Khan’s residence.
Last week, a fragment of the knife used in the attack on Saif Ali Khan was recovered from the area near a lake about a kilometer from his Bandra home.
During treatment at Lilavati Hospital, a 2.5-inch piece of the knife was extracted from the actor’s body. Police took the suspect, Mohammad Sharif, to the lake on Wednesday, where they spent about an hour and a half at the scene.
On January 16, around 3 AM, an attempted robbery was made at Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai home, which the actor thwarted. During the struggle, he was attacked with a knife, receiving six injuries, two of which were deep, and one was near his spine.
After being injured, Saif Ali Khan was taken to a local hospital by rickshaw instead of his car. He underwent surgery to remove the 2.5-inch knife fragment from his spine and was discharged after approximately six days.
