LAHORE: Pakistan women’s cricket team spinner Sadia Iqbal has successfully undergone surgery on her left knee, according to sources.
The procedure was performed at a local hospital after the cricketer had been experiencing knee discomfort for some time.
Sources said Sadia will now begin a rehabilitation programme under the supervision and guidance of doctors as she works toward a return to competitive cricket.
She could require approximately three months to return to full action, according to the sources.
