PESHAWAR: Relief cheques have been distributed among families affected by the Peshawar school tragedy.
On the special directives of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Deputy Commissioner Peshawar distributed relief cheques among the parents of children who were killed in the tragedy. Cheques worth a total of Rs19 million were distributed.
The Deputy Commissioner also met the affected families and expressed solidarity with them in their grief.
District administration teams are present on the ground and are preparing and verifying the final lists of all injured children.
According to the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, financial assistance will be provided to the injured children within one day after verification of their particulars.
