MARDAN: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan Qasim Ali Khan held a Police Darbar at Police Lines Mardan to strengthen communication and mutual trust between the police command and personnel and to address their concerns directly.
During the Darbar, police officers and personnel presented a range of administrative, official and personal issues, along with suggestions for improving departmental affairs. RPO Qasim Ali Khan heard the matters in detail and issued immediate orders for the resolution of some complaints.
For other issues, the RPO directed the relevant officers to take necessary action and set specific deadlines to ensure timely resolution.
Addressing the gathering, Qasim Ali Khan said the police force was like a family and that ensuring the welfare of every member and resolving their grievances promptly was an important responsibility of the command.
He also directed officers and personnel to maintain a polite, friendly and lawful attitude toward citizens, stressing that public trust was a fundamental pillar of effective policing.
The RPO emphasized that the police was an organized and disciplined force and instructed all officers and officials to ensure strict adherence to discipline in their duties, conduct and routine affairs.
The Police Darbar was attended by District Police Officer (DPO) Mardan, all divisional SPs, SDPOs, SHOs, officers and personnel of the Regional Police Office, and police officials from various ranks.
