SHANGLA: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand Syed Fida Hassan Shah, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Shangla Shah Hassan Khan, visited the homes of police personnel who were martyred during a recent operation against Fitna Al-Khawarij in Shangla district.
The senior officers met the bereaved families, offered condolences, and prayed for the departed officers. They also expressed solidarity with the families and assured them of continued institutional support.
Paying tribute to Head Constable Fida Hussain and Saeed-ur-Rehman, the RPO said the officers displayed exceptional courage while confronting Fitna Al-Khawarij elements during the operation. He stated that their sacrifices would be remembered in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and would serve as an inspiration for the force.
Syed Fida Hassan Shah said the police department stands shoulder to shoulder with the families in their time of grief and will extend all possible support for their welfare. He also met the children of the martyrs and emphasized that their education and future remain a collective responsibility of the police force and society.
DPO Shangla Shah Hassan Khan reiterated the department’s resolve to continue operations against Fitna Al-Khawarij and other anti-state elements to maintain peace in the region. He said the sacrifices of police personnel would not go in vain and that efforts to safeguard citizens would continue with full determination.
The visit reflected the police leadership’s commitment to honoring fallen officers and supporting their families following the Shangla operation.
