RPO DI Khan pays surprise visit to police training School

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Sayed Ashfaq Anwar, paid a surprise visit to the Police Training School (PTS) Dera on Thursday to review the academic activities, security arrangements, and facilities being provided to trainee police personnel. Upon his arrival at the Police Training School, RPO Dera was presented with a guard of honour. During the visit, he also planted a sapling as part of the ongoing tree plantation campaign. Director Police Training School Dera, Gul Shaid Khan, accompanied him throughout the visit.

The Director briefed the RPO in detail regarding the academic curriculum, security measures, and the facilities provided to the trainee police officers. The RPO conducted a detailed inspection of various sections of the training school, including classrooms, barracks, armoury, and the mess. During his visit to the mess, he interacted with trainee personnel to learn about their issues and the standard of facilities being offered. The trainees shared their concerns directly with RPO Dera.

RPO Sayed Ashfaq Anwar attentively listened to the trainees’ grievances and issued immediate directives for their resolution. He emphasized that ensuring high-quality, professional training for the police force remains his top priority. He further stated that all available resources will be utilized to appoint experienced and well-qualified instructors and to ensure the provision of adequate facilities at police training institutions.
