Bucharest: The Government of Romania has announced that applications are now open for the Romania Government Scholarships 2026, offering fully funded study opportunities to international students. The program is aimed at non-European Union citizens seeking to pursue higher education in Romania across undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels.

According to official details, the scholarship covers full tuition fees, accommodation in university dormitories, and a monthly stipend to support living expenses. It also includes medical assistance and, where required, a preparatory year to learn the Romanian language.
