With the support of the Rohghani Nation United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia Overseas Organization, the series of Iftar parties at Timergara Teaching Hospital continues. On the third day of Ramadan, a large number of patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and their attendants benefited from the Iftar party. On this occasion, the President of Rohghani Nation Lower Dir, Haji Foleel Khan, and Naeem Rohghani reviewed the arrangements for the Iftar party and stated that for the past five years, Rohghani Nation Pakistan has been organizing Iftar parties at Timergara Hospital, benefiting hundreds of thousands of people. Citizens expressed their appreciation, calling the grand Iftar party at Timergara Hospital a commendable and beautiful initiative. They highlighted that such charitable activities during Ramadan not only facilitate those in need but also promote a spirit of collective welfare. They further stated that all organizers of the Iftar party deserve congratulations for actively participating in such welfare activities. Initiatives like this symbolize positive change and unity within society.
Timergara
Under the special directive of Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir Muhammad Arif Khan and the leadership of District Food Controller Kashif Ahsan, Food Inspector Shabbir Ahmed took action against butchers in Timergara Bazaar following public complaints. Heavy fines were imposed on shopkeepers for the absence of official rate lists and for selling meat at inflated prices. The shopkeepers were strictly instructed to display the official price list prominently and to ensure the sale of meat at government-approved rates. Various teams from the Food Department, Lower Dir, are actively conducting daily operations in different markets to ensure the availability of essential food items at government rates during the holy month of Ramadan.
