He was the father of Sub-Inspector Amir Nawaz Khan and Mobile Electronics Engineer Haq Nawaz Khan and was the elder brother of Sher Nabi of the Education Department, Shah Nawaz and cousin of Shah Hussain of the Welfare Department, Sardar Hussain of the Police Department, Zubair Khan former Manager of the Agricultural Bank Sher Ali Khan, Engineer Abid Ali, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Jawad Ali, Muhammad Ayaz of the Utility Store Corporation Department.
