Rescue 1122 Shangla has released its performance report for May, highlighting the organization’s emergency response efforts in the district. According to the report, Rescue 1122 Shangla responded to a total of 336 emergencies during the month. Road traffic accidents: 16 incidents- Medical emergencies: 157 incidents- Fire emergencies: 6 incidents- Gunshot injuries: 1 incident- Drowning incidents: 2 incidents- Vehicle recovery: 16 vehicles recovered from various accidents. Rescue 1122 Shangla’s hospital referral services transferred 138 patients from local hospitals to teaching hospitals during the month. The control room received a total of 13,636 calls in May, including: 10,925 unnecessary calls- 2,513 dropped calls 336 emergency calls. District Emergency Officer Engineer Malik Sher Dil Khan stated that Rescue 1122 Shangla is committed to providing emergency services to the public 24/7 under the guidance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and Director General Shah Fahad. Emergency Officer Khan Muhammad appealed to the public to avoid making unnecessary calls to Rescue 1122, allowing the organization to focus on responding to genuine emergencies.
