Timergara: Rescue 1122 has issued its performance report for November 2024, highlighting its services in a total of 536 emergencies last month. Rescue services were provided to 512 injured and patients during various emergencies.During the month, 41 road traffic accidents were reported, where injured individuals were assisted. Additionally, there were 218 medical emergencies, 3 cases of altercations, 10 fire incidents, 1 drowning case, and 24 recovery operations, along with other incidents where assistance was provided.Under the ambulance referral service, 239 patients referred by doctors were transported to different hospitals within and outside the district under the supervision of trained Rescue 1122 staff.
The Rescue 1122 control room received 3,849 calls in November, many of which were unnecessary or fake. Following the directives of Director General Dr. Muhammad Ayaz Khan, District Emergency Officer Sanullah oversaw various fire safety and lifesaving training sessions conducted at schools, colleges, universities, and community levels across the district to reduce the rate of accidents.
