China has given a clear answer to those countries who want to put obstacles in the way of this great project of the century, the CPEC and the Belt and Road Initiative in a broad sense. Actually those countries don’t want Pakistan a developed country.
It should be remembered that this propaganda has been going on for some time that the CPEC project may be further delayed which will slow down the pace of development in Pakistan but the Chinese think tank has dismissed all such concerns as impossible.
Readers know that the friendship between Pakistan and China has gone through all the difficulties and the two brotherly countries have supported each other at all times. In this regard Mr. Victor, the vice president of the Chinese think tank Center for China and Globalization recently gave an interview to a well-known website in which he said that the list of anti-CPEC countries in the region is very clear and they do not want Pakistan to become a Developed country.
Pakistan’s neighbors are not part of the Belt and Road project, they are adamant that the BRI project should pass through where they claim but China and Pakistan do not agree. They do not want Pakistan to be associated with better connectivity projects. They also don’t want Pakistan to be economically strong. We know that China and Pakistan are on the same page. They want to bring it together and want it to have maximum benefits.
The Chinese think tank, thanked the people of Pakistan, the government and the army that has provided Chinese workers, engineers, teachers and officials for all possible cooperation that done for the security.
We know if a news of what happens in any part of the world will spreads like wildfire in China, as like that if the life of any Chinese citizen is lost it will also be spread like wildfire but that will create anxiety and despair which is not be good for economic cooperation.
We also want cooperation for the people of Pakistan with the Chinese working in Pakistan but if you don’t have stability in the country the foreign capital will avoid coming here. That is why China and Pakistan have to adopt innovative ways besides using of artificial intelligence to protect Chinese and Pakistani workers.
China has made its position clear that it want to help Pakistan on the path of development but if that important project is not protected there may be difficulties in the completion of the project.
Therefore it is important that our future rulers should not only provide protection to the workers of China for the success of and timely completion of these projects that can play an important role in the construction and development of the entire region but also support them for several projects at the country level.
It is to be noted that to speed up the work on Peshawar to Karachi M1 railway track project at the earliest opportunity that work can be started on it this year.
On the other hand the industrial zones including the Rashakai Economic Zone could be functional as soon as possible in view of the economic situation of the country. Industries can be set up in these zones to provide employment to the unemployed labor. So that the economic condition of the country can be improved.
The current government has done a great job despite its limited powers but very soon the new government will take over, which will have to work for the completion of that important project without wasting time. So that the conspiracies against it at the international level can be dissatisfied.
