The 8th death anniversary of renowned senior journalist Sufi Allah Ditta Khaksar was commemorated with great respect and reverence. Addressing the gathering, the custodian of the Central Shrine Khari Sharif, Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Umar Bakhsh, along with senior figures including Mian Mumtaz Ali Khaksar, Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan from the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Union of Journalists, Dudley’s notable personality Hafiz Inayat Ali, religious scholars Maulana Muhammad Aslam Khan Naqshbandi, Maulana Nasir Javed Sialvi, and Maulana Iftikhar Ahmed Hashmi, among others, expressed their admiration for the late journalist’s life and services.

They described Sufi Allah Ditta Khaksar as a fearless voice against oppression and a sword of justice for the downtrodden. He was a prominent leader in many public rights movements in Mirpur and was deeply committed to serving his community in Mian Muhammad Town. His notable contributions included resolving water issues, addressing cemetery matters, and advocating for the construction of government schools in the area.

Speakers emphasized that Sufi Allah Ditta Khaksar’s political, social, and journalistic contributions remain a beacon of inspiration for the younger generation. They lauded his relentless efforts in empowering the common man and urged that his legacy should never be forgotten.
