Reconciliation in Swabi’s Sheikh Jana

A 9-year-old feud between Basit Khan and Ayub Khan has been resolved through a jirga led by Waseef Khan, a notable figure in the region. This reconciliation is a significant achievement for the local elders, who worked tirelessly to bring the parties together.

The jirga, comprising Waseef Khan, Qurban Kaka, Aleem Khan, Malkonin Narangi, Sultan Turki, Bashir Khan Gangu Dher, Syed Ali Bashah Bacha, Naveed, and Malik Yusuf, successfully mediated the dispute.

This resolution serves as a shining example of the power of reconciliation, demonstrating that even long-standing disputes can be resolved through dialogue and mutual understanding.

The conflict, which began with the murder of Ajmal, has finally come to an end. The local elders deserve praise for their unwavering efforts to bring the parties together, visiting each household and working to resolve the issue.

Through the blessings of Allah and the sincerity of the jirga, the families of the killer and the victim have come together, putting aside their differences and forgiving each other in the name of Allah
