The meeting was attended by Group Leader of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zahir Shah, President Realtors Association Mardan Muhammad Farooq Khan, General Secretary Kashif Zaman Dawar, Chairman Umair Khan Atozai, along with other senior members of the association.

During the discussion, the delegation called for relaxation in NOC rules, simplification and greater transparency in the approval process, and a significant reduction in NOC processing fees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing them in line with practices followed in other provinces.

They emphasized that easing regulations would encourage the development of legal housing societies, boost domestic and overseas investment, and create new employment opportunities, thereby contributing positively to the provincial economy.

The Secretary Local Government listened to the proposals and assured the delegation that their concerns would be given serious consideration. He stated that the government is committed to facilitating the real estate sector and taking practical measures to restore investor confidence while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing optimism that constructive engagement between the government and real estate stakeholders would help address sectoral challenges and promote sustainable development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
