ISLAMABAD: Smartphone manufacturer realme has launched the new realme C100i in Pakistan, introducing a budget-focused device that combines a large battery, extended warranty coverage, and durability features aimed at everyday users.
The realme C100i is priced at Rs34,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. According to the company, the device is designed for students, workers, and users seeking longer battery life and reliable performance for daily tasks.
One of the key features of the smartphone is its 7,000mAh battery, which realme says is the largest battery offered in its price segment. The company claims the battery can support up to 21 hours of YouTube streaming, more than 24 hours of WhatsApp use, and over 53 hours of voice calling under tested conditions.
The device supports 15W fast charging and 6W reverse charging, allowing it to charge other compatible devices when needed. Realme also says the battery is supported by technology designed to maintain long-term battery health.
Focus on durability and warranty
The realme C100i features the company’s ArmorShell protection system and has undergone military-grade shock resistance testing, according to realme. The manufacturer says the phone can withstand drops from heights of up to two metres.
The smartphone also comes with IP64-rated dust and water resistance. Additional features include Wet Hand Touch 2.0, which allows the screen to respond more accurately when used with wet hands, and a speaker-cleaning function designed to remove dust using sound vibrations.
Realme is offering a 24-month warranty with the device, which the company says is unique within the segment.
Display and performance
The smartphone is equipped with a 120Hz display and reaches a peak brightness of up to 900 nits, making it easier to view content in bright outdoor conditions.
Powering the device is an octa-core processor, with realme reporting an AnTuTu benchmark score of 397,383. The company says the handset is optimized for long-term performance and has received a 48-month fluency certification.
AI features and design
Running on realme UI based on Android 16, the device includes AI-powered tools such as AI Eraser and AI Clear Face for photo editing.
Connectivity features include AI Netpilot technology, which is intended to improve signal stability in areas where network reception may be weaker. The phone also includes a 300% UltraBoom speaker for louder audio output.
Despite its large battery capacity, the realme C100i measures 8.38mm in thickness and weighs 208 grams. It is available in Dawn Purple and Dusk Gray colour options.
The launch adds another option to Pakistan’s entry-level smartphone market, where battery life, durability, and affordability remain key considerations for many consumers.
