realme has launched the realme 16 Pro Series 5G in Pakistan, introducing a new lineup focused on advanced mobile photography, performance, and extended battery life. The series includes three models aimed at users seeking high-end camera capabilities and long-lasting devices in the upper mid-range segment.
The lineup features the realme 16 Pro+ (12GB RAM, 512GB storage) priced at PKR 199,999, the realme 16 Pro (12GB RAM, 512GB storage) at PKR 169,999, and the realme 16 5G (8GB RAM, 256GB storage) at PKR 129,999.
Camera system and imaging features
The series is built around a 200MP camera system available in the Pro variants, supported by what the company describes as a full focal periscope setup. According to realme, the system is designed to enhance portrait photography with improved detail, depth, and zoom capabilities.

The realme 16 5G model includes a 50MP Sony sensor with image processing technology aimed at improving color accuracy and skin tones. All models feature a 50MP front camera and include AI-based imaging tools for photo optimization.
Performance and chipset configuration
The realme 16 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm architecture, targeting improved efficiency and performance. The realme 16 Pro uses the Dimensity 7300-Max chipset, while the realme 16 5G is equipped with the Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor, offering varying performance levels across the range.
Battery capacity and charging
All three devices come with a 7000mAh battery. The Pro+ and Pro variants support 80W fast charging, with the company stating that the devices can reach full charge in around 60 minutes. The base model supports 60W fast charging.
The devices also include features such as bypass charging and battery management systems intended to maintain long-term battery health.
Display and design
The Pro models feature AMOLED displays with peak brightness levels of up to 6500 nits, while the realme 16 5G offers up to 4200 nits. The lineup is designed with water and dust resistance, carrying an IP69 rating.
Color options include Master Gold and Master Grey for the Pro+, Orchid Purple and Pebble Grey for the Pro, and Air Black and Air White for the realme 16 5G.
Market positioning
According to the company, the series is targeted at users interested in mobile photography, gaming, and all-day battery usage. With pricing starting at PKR 129,999, the devices are positioned within Pakistan’s competitive upper mid-range smartphone market.
