LOWER DIR — Ramadan relief packages were distributed among poor and deserving families in Banrgai village, located in the Talaash area of Lower Dir district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The distribution was carried out under the supervision of local political and social figure Haji Gul Zaman Khan. The packages were donated by Ayesha Saeed Al-Nafaz, a female donor based in Dubai, with logistical support from facilitators Abdullah Noor and Haji Ghulam Shabbir.
According to organizers, hundreds of families received essential food items as part of the Ramadan assistance drive aimed at supporting low-income households during the holy month.
The distribution was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami Lower Dir Ameer Maulana Asadullah, Tehsil Talaash Zone Ameer Maulana Qari Javed Iqbal, and former Tehsil Nazim Riaz Muhammad Advocate, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Asadullah highlighted the importance of helping the poor and needy during Ramadan in light of Quranic teachings and Sunnah. He expressed gratitude to the donor and all those who supported the initiative. Prayers were also offered for the contributors and beneficiaries.
The initiative forms part of ongoing community efforts in the region to provide relief to vulnerable families during Ramadan.
