LAHORE: Punjab has decided to conduct a written test for the appointment of head teachers in government schools on merit.

According to the School Education Department, the test for head teacher postings will be held tomorrow under the supervision of PECTA.

The department has directed authorities to ensure the installation of CCTV cameras at examination centres, uninterrupted power supply, internet access and availability of tablets during the test.

The School Education Department has also instructed all districts to nominate focal persons for coordination with PECTA.

In a circular, all district authorities have been directed to provide full support for the transparent, effective and organised conduct of the examination.

The School Education Department has formally issued a circular to the CEOs Education in this regard
