Punjab Launches Online System for Weapon License Modifications

Punjab Department of Home has made the process of modifying and changing weapon licenses completely online for the convenience of citizens. Now, citizens can apply online for changes in weapon calibers, category modifications, bullet increases, inheritance transfer of weapon licenses, duplicate licenses, selling current weapons, and extending the license duration across Pakistan. With the new online system, citizens no longer need to visit offices for these services. All relevant documents and legal fees can be submitted online. The online module for weapon licenses was developed in collaboration with NADRA under the Punjab Arms Rules 2023. The Department has also issued a notice to all Deputy Commissioners regarding the use of this online module for weapon licenses.
