The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai have launched Punjab Land Record Services for Pakistani nationals living in the United Arab Emirates, allowing them to access land and property-related records in Punjab without travelling to Pakistan.
The facility has been introduced in collaboration with the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA). Both Pakistani missions have begun issuing Fards, official land ownership records, following the operational launch of the service.
Services Available Through Pakistani Missions
The new facility is intended to make land-record services more accessible to overseas Pakistanis in the UAE. Applicants can now obtain essential records through the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai.
The initiative is designed to provide a more convenient and transparent way for overseas Pakistanis to access property-related government services while reducing the need for travel to Pakistan for routine land-record requirements.
Part of Wider Digital Facilitation Efforts
The introduction of PLRA services in the UAE is part of the Government of Pakistan’s broader efforts to improve digital facilitation and public-service access for overseas Pakistanis.
