Dhudial: Punjab Food Authority Chakwal conducted a major operation in Chappar Bazar, filing a case against a dairy and bakery unit for adulteration. According to the Food Authority spokesperson, samples of desi ghee and khoya from the dairy were collected and tested. Upon failing the tests, an FIR was registered against the dairy owners at the police station. Additionally, 50 kg of adulterated khoya worth approximately Rs. 90,000 and 13 kg of desi ghee were destroyed.
The spokesperson further stated that operations against those involved in food adulteration are ongoing throughout the district. Citizens are encouraged to report any complaints by contacting the helpline at 1223.
