SARGODHA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sanam Javed was re-arrested by Gujranwala police outside Sargodha jail shortly after his release from jail on Wednesday.
He was involved in an incident in Gujranwala Cantt on May 9. When he was released from Sargodha jail on another charge, the Gujranwala police were all set to arrest him again.
The PTI leader was accused of involvement in the May 9 incident along with another party leader, Alia Hamza, who was chased by the Gujranwala police.
According to the police, PTI leader Alia Hamza is also wanted in connection with the same case. He is expected to be released from Sargodha jail today and the Gujranwala police are also reported to be outside the jail to arrest him.
