ISLAMABAD, November 6, 2026: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Friday expressed serious concern over former prime minister Imran Khan’s health, saying reports about his condition were not encouraging.

Speaking to journalists in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said the party had approached the Supreme Court seeking implementation of its August 18 order concerning access to the PTI founder.

He said PTI had requested the apex court to schedule an early hearing of its application so the matter could be resolved without further delay.

Barrister Gohar said a meeting with Imran Khan had taken place and lawyer Salman Safdar had visited him. He added that the party had received instructions concerning Khan’s health.

The PTI chairman stressed that there should be no compromise on the former prime minister’s health and reiterated the party’s demand for implementation of the Supreme Court’s August 18 decision.

He also called for an end to political tensions in the country, saying the prevailing situation should not be allowed to deteriorate further.

Barrister Gohar said PTI’s long march had ended and the provincial government had also been affected by the developments.

He urged authorities to stop the arrests and detention of party leaders and workers, arguing that the ongoing political confrontation should now come to an end.

The PTI chairman also demanded the immediate release of Imran Khan’s sisters.
