PTCL, Ufone Named ‘Effective Marketer of the Year’ at Effie Awards Pakistan 2026

ISLAMABAD, April 27: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Ufone have been recognised as the ‘Effective Marketer of the Year 2025–26’ at the Effie Awards Pakistan 2026, emerging as the most awarded organisation with a total of eight accolades.

The telecom and digital services providers secured three Gold, two Silver, and three Bronze awards across multiple categories, reflecting their strong performance in marketing effectiveness and campaign impact.

The Effie Awards, regarded globally as a benchmark for marketing excellence, honour campaigns that demonstrate measurable business results and are evaluated on strategy, execution, and overall effectiveness.

In the highly competitive Internet and Telecom category, PTCL and Ufone achieved notable success, with Ufone’s “Data Bohhaaat Hai” campaign winning Gold. Another campaign, “Babar’s Phone Lost,” also secured Gold in the Social Media (Services) category, while “Sohni Mahiwal” earned a Silver award.

The companies further received Gold in the Passion for Pakistan category for “Hockey Hai Pakistan Ki Shaan,” and Silver in Positive Change – Social Good (Brands) for the “Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar” initiative.

Additional recognitions included Bronze awards for UPaisa in Seasonal Marketing, the Peshawar Zalmi and Ufone collaboration in Brand Integration and Entertainment Partnership, and the “Dil Se” social impact platform in the Corporate Reputation category.

The awards highlight PTCL and Ufone’s integrated marketing approach, combining creativity, cultural relevance, and purpose-driven storytelling across telecom services, digital platforms, sports, and social initiatives.

The recognition underscores the companies’ efforts to deliver impactful campaigns that not only support business growth but also contribute to social development and community engagement across Pakistan.
