ISLAMABAD, November 3, 2026: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has appointed Amad Khan as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) following approval from the company’s Board of Directors.
Khan brings more than two decades of experience in telecommunications, technology and digital transformation, having worked across Pakistan, Australia and the Middle East.
His professional background includes commercial strategy, product management, revenue growth, customer experience and technology-led business transformation.
Since joining PTCL, Khan has held senior commercial leadership positions across the company’s wireline business, covering Fiber, Voice, TV, over-the-top (OTT) services and the Internet of Things (IoT).
He has contributed to PTCL’s fiber expansion strategy, revenue growth initiatives, customer experience improvements and digital transformation programmes.
Before joining PTCL, Khan served in senior positions at Optus Australia, where he worked on fiber and 5G Fixed Wireless Access strategies alongside product and technology transformation initiatives.
His earlier professional experience includes roles at Warid Telecom, Huawei, International Turnkey Systems and Saudi Business Machines.
In his new role, Khan will oversee PTCL’s marketing and customer growth strategy, including brand development, product positioning, digital engagement, customer experience and market expansion initiatives.
His responsibilities will also include strengthening customer preference and supporting sustainable growth across PTCL’s connectivity and digital services portfolio.
Khan holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where he was named to the Dean’s Honors List, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from FAST-NUCES.
The appointment comes as PTCL continues expanding its high-speed connectivity infrastructure and digital services while strengthening its position as an integrated technology and information and communications technology (ICT) company.
