On the 17th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, a seminar was held at the Peshawar Press Club by former PSF leaders and workers of the party.
Party leaders Arif Khan Tarangzai, Engineer Ghani Gul Mehsud, Buland Khan Turkai, Fazal Rabi Khan, Riaz Khan Tandar, Bacha Hussain and Khurshid Ali Khan participated in the seminar along with the workers.
Addressing the former PSF leaders regarding Benazir Bhutto’s life and political journey in the seminar.
Paying homage to Bibi Shaheed for his spirit of service to the country and the nation since the beginning of his political struggle, he said that the People’s Party was founded by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto under a solid ideology, whose aim was the downtrodden sections of Pakistan. But the capitalists and landlords of that time did not digest it, and together they formed a national alliance of nine parties to defeat the mission of Bhutto Shaheed, but in the face of public flood, that alliance Couldn’t stay And Bhutto Shaheed succeeded in forming a people’s government in 1977.

The policies of Bhutto Shaheed’s public government were not liked by the enemies of Pakistan either inside the country or outside the country, but they were also scared by the increasing popularity of Bhutto Shaheed and finally Shaheed Bhutto was not only removed from power but also removed from the world. The leaders said that the people of Pakistan held the hand of their leader’s daughter and after a long struggle made Ms.Benazir Bhutto the Prime Minister of this country and proved that the source of power is the people.

The leaders said that seeing the situation of the PPP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today, the heart is crying that the current leadership has brought the party to a level we never imagined.He further said that we have been requesting the Chairman PPP to take practical steps to save this party and hand over the leadership of the party to ideological people.The aim of the erstwhile PSF’s struggle is not to share power or occupy positions in the party, but to strengthen the party in the province.
On this occasion, Engineer Ghani Gul Khan Masood, Engineer Arif Khan Tarangzai, Abdullah Khan, Aurangzeb Mughal, Shafiq Khan, Ayaz Khan Marwat, Syed Zafar Ali Shah, Senior Leader of Malakand Division Khursheed Ali Khan, Bacha Hussain Mardan to Buland Khan Turkai, Fazal Rabi Khan, Engineer Daud Jan, Saeed Khan Gariyala, Riyaz Khan Tandar, Syed Ajmal Shah Rogani Haq Nawaz Khan from Hazara Division, Sardar Shiraz Afzal, Sheikh Fayyaz Hussain, Qazi Jima Kohat and DI Khan’s leaders paid tribute to their leader in powerful words.
Finally, resolutions were presented unanimously which were unanimously approved by the leaders and workers by majority.
The provincial government has failed to maintain law and order in the province in general and in Pada Chinar in particular. This House demands that this incompetent government should resign immediately.
The former PSF demands that the incompetent provincial organization of the PPP should be dissolved and an organizing committee should be formed to form a new organization in each division.
Former PSF founders and senior leaders have appealed to the President in a joint resolution to form a committee on the situation of Pada Chinar including senior leaders Farhatullah Babar, Raja Pervez Ashraf Sardar Ali Khan and Yousuf Raza Gilani. Please convey the deteriorating situation of Pada Chinar to you and play your role in providing food items to the forced women, children and elderly people there.
Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed and special prayers were offered for the recompense of those who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of democracy in the beloved country.
Aurangzeb Mughal while performing the duties of the stage secretary on this occasion thanked all the participants who came from all the divisions of the province.
