Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has reportedly stepped away from an upcoming film starring Saif Ali Khan and directed by Ritesh Batra.
According to Indian media reports, Chopra was expected to play the lead role and was interested in joining the project. However, her existing commitments made it difficult for her to accommodate the film’s shooting schedule.
The production team reportedly tried to adjust the shooting dates around Chopra’s schedule, but no arrangement could be finalized to accommodate both her commitments and the film’s production. She subsequently decided to leave the project.
The film reportedly began shooting on October 21 at a museum in Mumbai’s Byculla area. Two actresses are now reportedly being considered for the lead role, although their names have not yet been disclosed.
Meanwhile, the production team is currently filming Saif Ali Khan’s scenes. The film’s title and storyline have also not yet been officially announced.
