ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of life and damage to property caused by the earthquake that hit Xizang region of China. “I sympathize with the government, the Chinese people and the victims of the earthquake during this hour of mourning,” the president said in a press statement. “We stand in solidarity with our Chinese brothers and sisters and share their grief at this difficult time,” he added. President Asif Ali Zardari also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the earthquake.
