DADU: GYM Khana Dadu has begun preparations to host the 9th All Sindh Badminton Tournament, which is set to be the largest at both national and international standards. This seven-day tournament will commence on February 16 and conclude with the final on February 23.
A management committee meeting, chaired by GYM khana Secretary Mr. Shahzaman Malkani, was held to finalize the tournament’s arrangements, rules, and regulations. The meeting was attended by Haji Ahmed Soomro, Mumtaz Jamali, Sarwar Laghari, Abdul Hameed Memon, Ghulam Sarwar Abbasi, Ahmed Khan Channa, Pir Aftab, Mustafa Kamal Pasha, and other members.
Prize Distribution:
1st place team: Rs: 100,000 cash and 2 motorcycles
2nd place team: Rs: 50,000 cash and 1 motorcycle
3rd & 4th place teams: Rs: 25,000 cash each, motorcycles, and trophies
Tournament Highlights: GYM khana Secretary Shahzaman Malkani stated that Dadu GYM khana plays a key role in promoting sports and providing quality entertainment to the people of the city.
He further emphasized that this will be the largest badminton tournament at the national level, featuring top teams from across Sindh. He encouraged the people of Dadu and surrounding areas to attend this prestigious event. There will be no entry fee for spectators, ensuring that all citizens can enjoy the tournament for free. Additionally, a grand musical evening has been planned for the final match, featuring renowned singers performing live.
