PIND DADAN KHAN: Police in Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan have intensified operations against proclaimed offenders, thieves, and drug peddlers, arresting several accused in coordinated actions across various stations.
Lillah Police Station recovered more than one kilogram of hashish from a suspect during an operation against drug dealing. In a separate action, Jalalpur Sharif Police Station arrested two suspects in a theft case and recovered Rs. 100,000 in cash.
Meanwhile, Chowki In-charge Ghulam Rabbani of Pind Dadan Khan apprehended a proclaimed offender wanted in an attempted murder case and seized an illegal 30-bore pistol along with ammunition. Police officials said the accused had been hiding to evade arrest but was tracked down using modern investigative methods.
District Police Officer (DPO) Jhelum, Tariq Aziz Sandhu, said the crackdown on drug dealers, proclaimed offenders, and thieves would continue, terming them a “menace to society.”
