PML-N Leaders Inaugurate New Mosque Near Jati Umra

LAHORE: PML-N Lahore President and Member of the National Assembly Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, accompanied by Punjab Minister for Sports and Energy Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, inaugurated a newly constructed mosque in District 101 Society near Jati Umra on Friday.

The two leaders jointly opened the mosque and offered special prayers for Pakistan’s peace, stability, prosperity and development, as well as for the well-being of the country’s people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar said mosques hold a central place in Muslim society and that their construction, maintenance and development are considered acts of great religious merit.

He said religious and welfare projects also help promote brotherhood, social harmony and a stronger spirit of public service within local communities.

“Such initiatives play an important role in the collective welfare of society and bring people together around shared values,” he said.

Punjab Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar welcomed the establishment of a modern place of worship for residents of the area and described the project as a positive contribution to the local community.

He said mosques play an important role not only in religious life but also in promoting peace, unity, tolerance and social cohesion.

The minister added that welfare-oriented initiatives reflect a broader commitment to public service and can contribute to the moral and spiritual development of society.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Malik Bilal Saif Khokhar, Malik Haseeb Irfan Khokhar, Malik Hasnain Irfan Khokhar, local dignitaries, community representatives and a large number of residents.

Participants also prayed for national unity and the continued progress of Pakistan.
