Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Barrister Aqeel Malik on Saturday welcomed the recent verdict in the GHQ case, calling it a “victory for justice”.
Expressing his thoughts, Malik said, “Justice has prevailed because the court has thoroughly heard the matter. The decision has restored public confidence in the judicial process. The case remained unsolved for almost one and a half years due to constant delays.”
He criticized the tactics used to obstruct the proceedings and expressed his satisfaction with the resolution.
Recalling the events that took place on May 9, Malik said, “Those who are responsible for the chaos have dishonored the country.”
Accusing the opponents of using their workers as “tools” to push their agenda, Malik condemned their actions, which he claimed crossed all limits.
He emphasized that the legal system meets all the requirements of justice and called the court’s verdict a positive step.
Malik emphasized that the decision demonstrated accountability and set a precedent for dealing with such incidents in the future.
