Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the blast at an imambargah in the Tarlai area of Islamabad.

The prime minister expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives in the incident and conveyed his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families.

During a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the prime minister directed that a full and transparent investigation be conducted and ordered the immediate identification and arrest of those responsible.

He also instructed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities, directing the health minister to personally oversee their treatment.

The prime minister said that no one would be allowed to spread chaos and unrest in the country, and that the safety and protection of citizens would be ensured at all costs.
