Bhimber, Azad Kashmir: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, visited Bhimber, Azad Kashmir, where he inaugurated the foundation of the Danish School System. The ceremony was attended by Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, federal ministers, ministers of Azad Kashmir, political party leaders, and representatives of the Hurriyat Conference.
Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that the Danish School System would fulfill the dreams of underprivileged and deserving children by providing them with quality education. He assured the audience that the school would be completed and operational within a year. The Prime Minister stated, “The Danish School will provide education on par with Aitchison College for children who cannot afford such opportunities.”
Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, emphasizing that this initiative would serve as a milestone for the development of the region’s underprivileged population. He also praised the continued development efforts despite the challenges posed by the presence of forces along the Line of Control (LoC) and assured that the sacrifices of Kashmiris facing Indian oppression would not go in vain.
Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Ameer Maqam, reiterated the unbreakable bond between Pakistan and Kashmir, asserting that no conspiracy could weaken this relationship. He commended the government’s efforts to sustain the state and address public issues despite challenging circumstances.
The Danish School System will feature separate campuses for boys and girls and will eventually expand to other districts of Azad Kashmir. At the conclusion of the ceremony, all attendees hailed the project’s commencement as a significant milestone in the region’s development.
