PM Laptop Distribution Program held at Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan

Mardan: A ceremony under the Prime Minister Laptop Distribution Program was held at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on Tuesday, where Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam attended as the chief guest, reaffirming the government’s focus on education and technology-driven youth empowerment.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmed said the laptop initiative was a key step toward integrating students with modern technology and strengthening their academic and research capacities. He said that 900 laptops would be distributed among deserving students of the university as part of the program.

Speaking on the occasion, Amir Muqam said students represented the country’s future and that investing in education was essential for long-term national development. He added that the government was prioritizing education and technology to equip young people with skills relevant to the modern economy.

The event was attended by members of the university administration, faculty, officers, and a large number of students.
