A private plane crashed on Thursday afternoon in Maguindanao del Sur province, southern Philipines, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including three foreigners, as reported by multiple sources.
The tragic incident occurred around 2 pm local time in the town of Ampatuan, according to local police. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines confirmed the crash but had not released further details.
The Philippine News Agency identified the aircraft as a Beech King Air 350. It was reported that villagers recovered four bodies, including those of two males.
Police responders began investigating the accident in an effort to ascertain the nationalities of the victims.
