Pind Dadan Khan: Assistant Commissioner Pind Dadan Khan, Nadia Parveen, inaugurated a five-day polio vaccination campaign by administering polio drops to children.

On this occasion, the Assistant Commissioner stated that the first national anti-polio campaign of the year will run from February 3 to February 7. During the campaign, a target has been set to vaccinate 63,890 children against polio, and foolproof security arrangements have been made for the polio teams.

A total of 279 mobile teams, 7 transit teams, 19 fixed teams, and 57 area in-charge teams have been formed in 16 union councils. Additionally, 6,816 children will receive polio drops in schools.

Polio teams will visit homes, bus and van stands, educational institutions, and healthcare centers to ensure every child under the age of five receives polio drops. Moreover, 6,816 nomadic children will also be vaccinated during this campaign.
