Court Sentences Child Assault Convict to Life Imprisonment

The honorable court of Judge Hafiz Azhar Hussain Shah, Additional Sessions Judge Pind Dadan Khan, announced the verdict in case number 463/22 under Section 376(III) PPC of Police Station Pind Dadan Khan regarding the sexual assault of a 14-year-old child. The court sentenced the convict, Muhammad Shabbir, to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 200,000.

SHO Raja Usman Tasaduq traced and arrested the convict, presenting a strong case with solid evidence before the court, ensuring effective prosecution.

According to DPO Jhelum, Tariq Aziz Sindhu, the conviction of criminals involved in sexual assault cases against women and children is a victory for law and justice. He announced commendation certificates and cash rewards for the investigation and legal teams.
