PIMS approves long-pending promotions for paramedical staff

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences has completed long-pending promotions of paramedical staff in Grade 16 and Grade 14, bringing relief to employees whose cases had remained unresolved for several years.

According to sources, the PIMS paramedical staff promotions were finalized after the administration took special interest in completing the official and administrative process. The decision is expected to improve staff morale and the working environment at the hospital.

Sources said Executive Director Prof Dr Imran Sikandar personally followed the matter, while Deputy Executive Director Dr Aneeza Jalil, Assistant Director Abu Bakar, Superintendent Raja Mahmood, Saad Bin Zafar, Syed Shabeeh-ul-Hassan and other administrative officers helped complete the process.

Internal circles at PIMS described the decision as an important development for paramedical employees, saying it addressed long-standing concerns among staff members in different departments.

Employees appreciated the administration’s move and described it as a positive step for the workforce.

All Pakistan Paramedical Staff Federation Secretary General Muhammad Arshad Khan also welcomed the promotions and appreciated the PIMS administration.

He said the long-awaited promotions would help restore staff confidence and that the administration’s positive approach had created renewed hope among employees.
