Bollywood actress Neetu Kapoor once revealed an unusual and amusing incident from her wedding to late actor Rishi Kapoor, recalling how pickpockets reportedly attended the ceremony disguised as guests.
According to Neetu Kapoor, the pickpockets not only mingled with the guests but also presented gifts at the wedding. However, when the gift packages were later opened, the family was left stunned to find stones and slippers instead of valuable items.
Neetu Kapoor also recalled that the wedding celebrations were so crowded that she fainted due to nervousness. Interestingly, Rishi Kapoor also reportedly fainted before mounting the horse for the wedding procession.
Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor were married on January 22, 1980, at RK House in Mumbai. The wedding was attended by numerous Bollywood personalities and a large number of guests.
