Peshawar Literary Festival’s third edition to begin on April 21

PESHAWAR, April 13: The third edition of the Peshawar Literary Festival will be held on April 21 and 22 at the Nishtar Hall, organisers announced, bringing together leading literary and intellectual figures from across the country.

Following the success of its previous two editions, the festival has established itself as a significant platform for literary and cultural engagement in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond. This year’s theme, “Adab, Kasb, Jawan” (Literature, Livelihood, Youth), aims to highlight the role of literature not only as a form of creative expression but also as a catalyst for intellectual awareness, critical inquiry, and social development.

The two-day event will feature a diverse range of activities, including panel discussions, dialogues, poetry readings, book launches, and sessions addressing contemporary social and cultural issues. According to the organisers, the festival seeks to promote a culture of dialogue while reinforcing Peshawar’s position as a vibrant centre for literary activities at the national level.
